Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started?
What happens in a free consultation?
I will call you at the phone number you provide, and we will speak by phone for about 20 minutes. You can share what’s going on, what you want help with, and ask me any questions you have. Then we will decide together if we are a good fit. You can schedule your free consultation here.
Do you take insurance?
No, I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide monthly superbills on request that you can submit to your insurance for direct reimbursement if your plan has out-of-network benefits.
How much do sessions cost?
Individual sessions $175
Couples sessions $220
I offer sliding scale/reduced cost fees for a limited number of clients. Please mention to me if you are needing a reduced fee.
Where are you located? How do we meet?
I am located in Seattle, WA and am licensed to work with clients throughout Washington State. I currently meet with clients online via a HIPAA-secure telehealth platform. I am available for occasional in-person meetings in Seattle in the Ballard neighborhood.
How long is a session and how often do we meet?
Sessions are generally 55 minutes. I offer weekly sessions at the same time and day each week to provide scheduling predictability and consistency.
Can my baby attend with me?
Yes, infants and young toddlers are always welcome to attend sessions with you, and we will flex to accommodate you and your baby’s needs in session, including feeding, changing, pumping, etc. I am happy to pause as needed for interruptions by older children generally occupied elsewhere.
I had my baby more than a year ago, but I still feel impacted. Can you help me?
Yes, impacts from giving birth, adjusting to parenthood, or adding another child to your family can be long-lasting, especially if you did not receive adequate support early on. I would be honored to work with you toward lasting healing.
I am not in Washington State. Can we still work together?
No, you must be physically located in Washington State during every session. In the future, there may be options for counseling across state lines through the Counseling Compact.
